I Skipped My Own Wedding... According to My MIL
The definition of passive aggressive.

I Skipped My Own Wedding... According to My MIL
Tied the knot yesterday. Sunshine, champagne, vows — the whole fairytale.
Woke up this morning riding the post-wedding high... until I opened Instagram.
My feed? Full of love. Tags, hugs, and blurry dance floor shots.
Then I see her post.
My mother-in-law.
Caption: “So happy for my boy 💙”
Okay.
Cute, I guess.
Except her boy apparently got married… alone?
She posted 20 photos. Of him. Him with his dad. Him with his groomsmen. Him with the bartender. And one of a cheese plate.
Guess who’s not in a single one?
The bride.
Not one photo. Not even a blurry corner of my veil.
I mean did I hallucinate my own wedding?
And I know she has pics with me in them. The photographer literally sent us the gallery last night.
She even posted a shot from our first dance — zoomed in so tight, you’d think he was dancing alone.
So like… what are we doing here?
Just a proud mom? Or something more?
Anyone else dealt with this kind of thing?
Could use some advice...

Talk about subtle... lol. You’re not overthinking it. Passive-aggressive is right, and honestly, it says more about her than it does about you. Hope your partner has your back, because this kind of stuff can spiral fast if no one checks it.
