I planned a bachelorette trip for a bridezilla.

I was the maid of honor for my friend of over 10 years. She told me she trusted me to plan everything. Her exact words were “I’m good with whatever, I just want to have fun.” So I did. 

I booked the trip to Nashville, made the itinerary, handled the group chat, the reservations, the deposits. Every detail was sent to her in advance. She never objected once.

Until we got there.

A few hours before one of the activities, she suddenly decided she didn’t want to go. We’d all paid deposits already. I offered to change plans but she said it was fine, then spent the rest of the night crying in the bathroom because apparently no one was giving her enough attention.

She was cold the entire weekend. Made passive-aggressive comments at almost everyone. At brunch, she was sitting beside one of the girls and started talking about her like she wasn’t even there. Literally called her a bitch to her face like it was nothing.

After the trip, she went silent. No thank you. No message to the girls for planning. Nothing.

Then a week before the wedding, she started texting me like nothing happened. I still showed up. Did her makeup. Dealt with her mom. Herded vendors. Smiled in all the pictures.

And now? Nothing. No thanks. No apology. Not even a check-in.

She’s probably telling people I abandoned her. But I didn’t. I stayed until the very end. We haven’t talked since the wedding. And honestly? I’m too salty to fix it. The whole thing just brought out who she really is.

I saw the other post and honestly, I get there’s a lot of stress being a bride, but there’s a lot she left out. The crying, the name-calling, cold behavior, none of that was mentioned. Hmm.
